Held under USCF permit.

Awards will be USA Cycling state championships medals.


rule book standard championship events:
            200 meter flying tt as a matched sprints qualifier.
            Match sprints for the top 8 qualifiers
            Pursuit (tt format)
            Kilo (tt format)
            Points race. 

 

Riders must race the earlier events to be eligible for the points race.
tt format means 1 ride for each person.  We won't be doing elimination rounds.


$25 flat entry fee for the day.
Iowa annual licensees only.  No 1-days, no race-day-annuals, no out-of-Iowa licensees.

As per some rule, non-Iowa racers may ride in the Kilo and Pursuit as qualifiers for Nationals how ever they won't be eligible for the medals.


Equipment rule: Fixed gear with lock ring for all events.  No hand brakes. Keep it simple.

This will be a rare chance for Iowa bicycle racers to try out real velodrome racing.  The last such event was over 20 years ago.


Registration closes at 9 am.

Start at 9 am. 

Depending on the turnout, we may have a lunch break.
